September 2, 2024 – Star Alliance, the world’s largest global airline alliance, has teamed up with Loyalty Status Co, the leader in status commercialization, to offer a status match/challenge for SAS EuroBonus members.
If the status match/challenge is successful, SAS EuroBonus members can continue to enjoy the connectivity, benefits, and perks that come with Star Alliance Silver and Gold status.

Program Details:
From now until November 30, 2024, eligible SAS EuroBonus members can apply for a status match with or participate in the status challenge of the participating Star Alliance member airlines. Approved applicants will maintain their Star Alliance elite benefits, including access to over 1,000 airport lounges worldwide, priority services, and enhanced baggage allowances, ensuring seamless global travel.
