Philippine Airlines Launches Mabuhay Miles Status Match for Eligible Frequent Flyers
New status match offer enables elite frequent flyers to continue enjoying recognition and travel privileges with Mabuhay Miles
MANILA, Philippines – 14 September 2026 – Philippine Airlines (PAL), the Philippines’ flag carrier, today announced a new status match campaign for its Mabuhay Miles loyalty program, in partnership with Loyalty Status Co, the travel technology company behind StatusMatch.com.
The campaign, available at PhilippineAirlines.statusmatch.com, lets elite members of participating airline loyalty programs receive equivalent recognition within Mabuhay Miles. Eligible applicants may qualify for either Mabuhay Miles Elite or Mabuhay Miles Premier Elite status, unlocking an enhanced travel experience with priority airport services, additional travel privileges, and greater recognition across Philippine Airlines’ growing international network.
As part of the campaign launch, Philippine Airlines is extending an exclusive privilege to holders of Philippine National Bank (PNB) x Mabuhay Miles co-brand debit and credit cards. From September 14 to October 31, 2026, cardholders may pay exclusively with eligible PNB Mabuhay Miles co-brand debit and credit cards, giving them early access to the campaign. Beginning November 1, 2026, payment will be opened to all major debit and credit cards.
Matched status will be granted in accordance with the Mabuhay Miles elite tier validity cycle. Members whose applications are approved between July 1 and December 31, 2026 will enjoy their matched status through February 2028. At the end of the applicable validity period, members may retain or upgrade their Mabuhay Miles status by meeting the standard Mabuhay Miles tier qualification requirements.
